How sustainable are you?

Should I quit the ‘day’ job?
This post explores the dilemma many socially responsible entrepreneurs face - whether to quit their "day job" and "go all-in" on their business. It provides a framework to help navigate this difficult decision by examining one's values, risks, and the real underlying questions.
How do we have positive impact?
In a recent conversation with a humanitarian leader, I explored the complexities of creating positive impact in our respective fields. We discussed common challenges faced by purpose-driven individuals like us, whether working within large organisations or as independent change-makers. Milestones and meaning…
This week I reached the coaching milestone of completing my 800th coaching session. But what does this really mean for me? I’m musing on this, alongside topics of celebration and acknowledgement.
The magical power of mindset
I’m writing about mindset, how important it is for growth and how to build your mindset muscles. “Make sure your worst enemy doesn’t live between your two ears” - Laird Hamilton. Ever stepped into a situation where you feel you need to be on the defensive? Read on…
What really great mistakes have you made?
Today I’m writing about mistakes, doing a little reframing and encouraging you to embrace them and share them. We all make them!
Roosevelt is quoted as saying; “The only man who never makes mistakes is the man who does nothing”. We can sit somewhere we hope is safe, make ourselves small, not get involved and hope things will quietly pass us by. Or we can choose to be brave and get out there and live life to the fullest. Have you ever experienced what happens when you have far too many things to focus on? You begin a day with a massive to-do list and run about multi-tasking, working super hard, but never actually completing anything?
A good place to begin…
Musings on good starts, progress on gaols and incremental gains. ‘Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.’ Says Arthur Ashe, this appeals to my pragmatic side. When you boil things down, what else can you do?! However, it is pretty common to find yourself trying to do something far less sensible! I certainly have at points in time...
